I actually think we’re getting to the heart of the issue. There is so much information out there that will validate whatever we want to believe. I struggle with the CDC because I see it as a political organization. It wasn’t long ago they told us masks weren’t needed. Now, they’ve changed their minds.

Meanwhile, their data, as 757 pointed out, shows a much lower death rate than we’ve ever been led to believe. A death rate of .26% overall, with a HUGE variation in that rate between the older population and a younger/healthier person. If these numbers are true, we need to protect the vulnerable population and let everyone else go back to their normal lives.
