On the one hand, it is bad form to suggest that a narrative-driven media might have some impact upon peoples' opinions. On the other hand, it is perfectly okay to accuse those who disagree with you of wanting to kill off granny.

Please explain how I am wrong? With that plan, what would happen to that group of people? And I'm not saying anyone "wants" that to happen, but that is what would happen. Collateral damage for the greater good of our 401k?

People in this thread have already talked about having an acceptable number of deaths.

It is a perfectly legitimate concern. And you are a noble person for keeping it front and center.

But it is not, at least for some of us, the last and only word on the subject. Exploring ways to open up our economy NOW is also a perfectly legitimate consideration, and ought not be squelched with a "s.t.f.u. granny killer" response.
