Welp, my oldest just wrecked her bike and has some sort of ankle injury (probably a sprain, but could be broken). I told her she's going to have to suck it up. We aren't going to a hospital right now.

Maybe call your pediatrician see if they can arrange an x-ray somewhere other than the ER or urgent care. If it is broken and needs setting, you don't want that healing wrong. It could cause problems the rest of her life.

It just happened a little while ago. We're going to see how it responds to ice and elevation and then, if necessary, we'll call the doc.

Same here. Sent a pic of my 7year old to my friend who's a PA. 7 year old with a slight rash over entire body now and itchy at times in his feet. Benadryl helps a little. She said as long as no fever over 101 and no sore throat keep hitting it with benadryl and let the virus run its course instead of going in. I'm like dude, you cant have strep. Take a shot of this brown stuff.
