I think back to games where QBs we recruited out of high school fumbled the ball, untouched, on consecutive possessions, and it makes me awful skeptical that we've had the requisite talent here but just couldn't develop it

If Collins doesn't return, that's a big problem. He's one of the only players that gives me hope for next season.

Improving the scheme is more important IMO. Collins went 1-2 vs the weakest three teams and defenses we played. Jovani went 1-1 vs the two best ones and I’m not sure he turned it over once. I’m good with JJ at QB, but offensive scheme needs to evolve.

Yeah, but in those 3 games we put up points, despite injuries all over the place. (Admittedly, would've put up even more with better scheme)
