Bummer. I loved watching him catch passes.
Would you say he underachieved? Or was under-used? Or played to his potential?

I'd say, for whatever reason, it just wasn't a good fit. Sometimes things just don't work out.

He was probably a best fit as a tight end in an Air Raid scheme, and Rice wasn't going that direction at any time while he was here.
