But this is the second straight year we’ve suffered through the embarrassment of a senior going through senior night ceremonies only to then sit out for undisclosed, non-injury reasons. It is completely fair and within our right as fans and alumni to call into question the type of player representing us.

He is not the first to be suspended for off court activities, and he wont be the last. Every Kent coach in the last 20 yrs has had a player or players with off court issues. Goes with the territory. I am not saying I like it, but that is the way it is in college sports these days. They are 19-20 year old kids, who can't or won't think past tomorrow.

Also ... and this is no small issue. What is deemed 'violation of team rules or violation of school policy' at one institution may be (and most often is) completely different from one school to the next.

Three strikes and out for weed at one school could be three strikes and rehab at another ... ditto for any other typical infraction. The NCAA has no uniformity on rules .... until the NCAA Tournament.

Didn't Dambrot let Quincy Diggs come back after a year in counselling or something for a pretty serious domestic violence incident? I think he's the one that hit his GF in the head with a plate.
