No one cares about Memphis either in the grand scheme of things. If Memphis didn't exist there would just be more Tennessee fans.

Well let's discuss. Our current conference's television contract is predicated on four schools staying in the conference. Those teams are UCF, Houston, Cincinnati, and Memphis.

If any one of those four teams were to leave the conference, ESPN would renegotiate the current contract downward.

If Tulsa leaves or gets the boot, we'd probably all split their share. I'm sure Tulsa doesn't make ESPN a dime. Addition by subtraction.

So, in the grand scheme of things Memphis is way more important than Tulsa as far as the AAC is concerned.

Did you just bring up football and a media contract in a basketball discussion? After talking attendance smack in another thread? What is Memphis the new ECU football of the AAC?

It's hilarious that your entire history of football success is down to one coach and your claimed superiority in basketball is built on mediocrity, cheating, and vacated wins. You have one of the lowest totals for conference championships in the AAC.

I can't even do it anymore, it just makes me feel bad.

Got missed out of a fake conference realignment that includes multiple schools from conferences that have agreed NOT TO PLAY? Sure...
