if idowu doesnt get a waiver ugboh (who isnt built for a ton of minutes) will be the only eligible player taller than 6'7 on the active roster (said 6'7 player is 210lbs, earley..everyone else is 6'6 or smaller)
i was sorta expecting the last ship to go a backup/emergency big

Some people in our program expect a lot from Earley. Earley is roughly the same size as Igbanu was. If Idowu doesn't get the waiver, we'll probably see Ugboh / Earley pushed into more mintues than they would have been, but they won't be expected to produce offensively like Igbanu did because of the quality of guards / wings we have coming in. Haith has been on a couple podcasts for signing day talking about next year's team. He's expecting to recreate his small-ball team at Mizzou that won 30 games in 2010 4 guys under 6'6 playing most of the minutes and one big man.

He's also said he expects Rod Brown (previously of Wichita) to defend the 1-5 spots. Brown has been listed between 6'5 and 6'7. He'll probably start at one of the Forward spots in our matchup zone. He also just compared Schumate to Daquan Jeffries but said Schumate is farther along in his development at the same point in his career. Jeffries played the 4 spot for us pretty exclusively for Tulsa at 6'5" but he could bounce out of the building and had a massive wingspan. Most Tulsa fans expect Shumate to play that same role based on his production at Bloom. Schumate is 6'6" but plays much larger.
