So is their model stick with other Texas schools?

BTW of course ND couldn't stick just to Indiana.. there's only one other school there.

Ever heard of Purdue? How about Larry Bird's alma matter, Indiana State? Ever head of David Letterman? He went to Ball State.
ahh purdue.. but the others? Are they like Tech, aggy, tcu, smu, rice, Utep? or more like Angelo St, Tarleton st, Abilene Christian, Lamar, etc?
Just saying Purdue isn't carrying anything like schools from the state. So I don't agree that this is a business model for TX unless playing schools you have deep history with is considered a model

Purdue is like a Tech. They have a sound fan base in Indiana and Chicago despite more lean years than not.

Indiana St and Ball St don’t fit in either category. They’re not the old SWC schools, but they’re in significantly better conferences than Angelo, Tarleton, Abilene, Lamar, etc. Indiana St has been to a national title game and a year ago soldout 10,500 people vs Loyola.
