Since IB is at PA and Green Run, it doesn't appear to have worked that well. By the same token, Ocean Lakes is the Math & Science Academy, so if any of the kids on the football team got into that program that sends a ton of kids to Ivy League schools, good on them.

It was rumored that PA was using its IB program to get top girls athletes to their programs. Of course, it's hard to tell what sort of impact any of them have, because it's not as though there's a box on the application for "looking for better football team." And there's always the argument that an influx of transfers is a testament to the program's attractiveness than any malfeasance on the program's part (it seemed like an undergrad state champion at Currituck County HS was a good bet to find his way to Great Bridge the next season) But if nothing else, the opportunity is there.
