Jim Corrigan and John Richardson might disagree. I know this is football, but the same logic would apply. Theres always a chance to make a good impression on the new guy, or even get promoted yourself. So I would think tanking on the program is a bad idea. Plus wouldnt it make them look bad to prospective employers?

You are right. These coaches offered to stick around for a little bit to see how things shook out (and a couple might be trying to get the HC job).
