This is so painful to read. How can someone not see the benefit, the rational business decision of spending 1mill in public funds to get the benefit of a 30mill project. Not spending the 1mill has no impact on or city or on wages or on anything. The Mayor isn't going to use the money to raise salaries.

This is an investment. Look it up.

How do we progress when so many are so small minded...
