I would normally pull for the mid major argument. But Brownell getting his team back in the tourney will help quiiet some rumbling going on at Clemson about firing him. So I am pulling for them. And the fact that I am also a Clemson fan.

In that regard, I'd like him to retain his job. Certainly, I would never root against him. That being said, my only "loyalty" there is again, based on nostalgia.

I guess I was a little closer to the program and what he did even as an assistant here. Not so sure Wainright would have put us on the map without Brownell.

Oh, didn't mean to take away from Rodney Terry's recruiting abilities. But Brownell was the X's and O's guy.

I'm sure, as I was only a student back then. I didn't mean to take away from anything he did here, just that his being in the tourney or not at this point in his career doesn't really affect UNCW. Aside from that, I'll always root for his success wherever he lands and would love it if the opportunity arose for him to return, as unlikely as that is.
