Yes, and it's close to his preferred recruiting area. But can they substantially better his current salary?

They were paying Mullin $2M/year (Mick is making $2.25M/year here). IDK how much flexibility they have to pay more.

Jon Rothstein is now reporting that Arizona Head Coach Bobby Hurley is a front runner for this job. Seems to me they may have the money to pay someone a little more.

Seems like a bad move for Hurley. He will have better opportunities as long as he keeps Az State at it's current level.

Yeah St Johns seems like a bad move and a step back for Hurley.
