Implied premise: a school with a 6-6 football team is "growing its fanbase". If your games in the lower half of the AAC package (what's now on ESPNews, CBS-SN), I don't think you're building much audience. By being on those platforms, you're serving the audience you already have, but you're not growing because your product isn't THAT attractive.
