The flexibility comes with Dickins, Ezipke, Wade, Carver and Green. Who's hot, who matches up, etc. determines who starts.
My take is that, if everyone stays healthy, Kithcart will continue to come off the bench. From what I've seen, he's been real good in spurts, giving us life on the offensive end. However, every game looks the same in that he'll make a few shots, then have a string of turnovers/bad fouls/defensive breakdown (his man typically can do whatever he want with him)...then repeat.
Huh Kithcart was all money on the Florida trip. Probably one of the best players on the floor. People need to pay attention more....
Yes, during the FL trip, he had solid showing. But I've also watched every game so far this season. I'm not saying he isn't a valuable asset to the team, HOWEVER some people are sounding off like he should be the starting PG right now. I'm not sure how many times I've heard coaches and/or player say in game that he's lost on both offense & defensive plays. Does that show up in the box score? No. But it does effect the flow. Just last night, was the example of coaches trying to encourage him to be better when he doesn't have the ball. There were 2 straight possessions where Ahmad/BJ held the ball at the top, to only end up driving/taking a poor, tough, contested shot. JJ then turned to the coaches and yelled out something to the effect of they can't actually run the offense if he doesn't go where he's supposed to go.
Again, he's been an integral part of our success, and I look forward to seeing how he develops, but I currently don't see how putting him in the starting lineup is effective. Look how well it's working out for Robinson.
I don’t think anyone suggested he start over Caver, but when he goes in Kithcart runs the point more effectively lately.
Only seen a few games this season, but was surprised last night seeing Caver and Kithcart on court together for quality time in 2nd half. I remember thinking at the time they were playing well. But, team missed a bunch of reasonable shots while they were treading water and ultimately falling behind.
Have they played at same time much in earlier games? If so, has the team looked good on those occasions? Thoughts on how this helps or hurts us?
From what i read on Florida swing and what I saw last night, what's happened to our defense? Over the past few years, have really been impressed by how hard the team worked on D. Last night looked like a completely different team. Looking for better tomorrow and another W.
