AutoZone Park, home of the AAA Memphis Redbirds, will get renovations. A new pro soccer stadium will be built, likely on the site of the old Mid-South Coliseum, in the shadow of SB Liberty Stadium.

I'm glad AutoZone Park is part of this overall efforts. Via Google Maps/Streetview, I spent some time last night looking at it and the new and nearby hotels. Downtown Memphis is making nice strides.
