BYU has finally installed a state-of-art Wi-Fi system at LaVell Edwards Stadium. BYU is also launching a game-day mobile app.

The stadium also has a new social media ribbon board above the east stands. The ribbon boards above the north and south stands will continue to show scores and stats.

And, BYU is instituting the Clear Bag Policy for this season. At least they delivered a clear bag with the season tickets.

BYU will fill in the four corners of LaVell Edwards stadium this off-season, ready for the 2019 season. It won't add seating to the 64,000 capacity stadium, but the improvements will connect the stadium at a mezzanine level and allow you to walk a complete circle around the stadium without having to go to ground level. Much needed restrooms for the upper levels will be added in the new four-corner structures.

These improvements will be a nice change for the look and feel of the stadium. I'm interested to see how it affects the noise - hopefully it contains more noise to make game day even louder. Just in time for a great 2019 home schedule that includes the Utah and Boise State rivalry games as well as USC and Washington.
