Actually not for a European-style socialist government, but rather for something far worse. For a collectivist/redistributionist/socialist/communist government. The European "socialist" countries aren't nearly so heavily committed to income and wealth redistribution as are the democrats. And guess what, they get greater equality of both wealth and income.

Have to agree with you Democrats what to keep 1% wealthy and everyone else equal. That' means a big lower middle class and virtually no middle class.

That actually looks more like the GOP plan.
