This will be dependent on how deep they have to go. They just keep pounding on them until they have a predetermined small movement per hammer blow. At the moment I'm a little worried, based on their animated construction video they show all the piles being installed and starting on pile caps by the first week of January. That means all 600 and some piles have to be installed in the month of December. Lets say the actual number is 630 and they have 30 days to do it to make the math easy. That leaves 21 piles per day. Currently there are only three pile drivers on site, so to maintain schedule each would have to do 7 per day. Not sure if they can consistently hit that, if they can hit it at all. Certainly there's a CE on here that had to count blows as part of a class or internship that can provide input on how many piles can usually be set in a day in that area.

That's what my co-worker used to do. Count the pile blows with a clicker. Soon as it was x number per foot he gives the signal to kill it. Kind of crazy that's how they still do it with modern technology.
