Schedule was a mixed bag... we scheduled plenty of good teams and the Cayman classic was fine. The buy games were abysmal.

I still hate that buy games are so crucial. The difference between playing 175 and 275 or 300 is not very different. It is a way for the rich to benefit by paying more money for those that help your resume with the odds of winning being pretty close to equal.

There are lots of P5 teams that don't even play a road game and just pay for decent buy games. I don't think it is right that those teams are rewarded more than a team like UC that can't afford the good buy games, but goes on the road against 2 top 25 teams and plays 1 at a neutral site. I would hope the committee would take that into consideration. Between the 4 good OOC games we played and a solid tournament, I would think the committee would look on that favorably on a deep dive and reward the Cats.
