Strange that the NDSU, SDSU and USD websites are promoting this, but most schools like UND don't. Seems like a conscious effort by those three to promote their games against Montana St, EWU and UND, as if there is something in the future to work toward.

Some thing has changed for the other Dakotas to want to promote this. Half the games involve those four Dakotas.
