Not sure if this falls into the campus construction topic but in trying to secure a reservation at Hotel Madison for an upcoming weekend they are sold out and that’s not the first time that’s the case. The times I’ve gone there it seems to be thriving and it’s good to see that they are selling out post Covid.

I recall on these boards some posters who poo pooed the idea when it came about and feared that it would be a failure - pointing to failed convention hotels in connection with other universities (George Mason I believe). Just another example that JMU and the surrounding area is primed for big things and up to the task- whether it be a hotel a new arena a new building or the other half of a football stadium. It’s a destination and with the growth of the students alumni and Shenandoah Valley if you build it they will come…oh they will come Ray .
