Guess you were thinking more of a bluestone look, since this is sort of near the Quad and Forbes center?

Not sure what bluestone facing costs, price could be a factor. I thought the cohesion thing was part of the whole Master Plan, maybe this building wasn’t included when they last updated it. That plan gets pretty detailed down to the look of campus signage.

Thank you for the civil, actual conversation....there are a few levels bof bluestone (actual, faux, splitface block, etc)...but beyond that, we have too many looks and no unifying trait. It's odd that we build village-looking structures far from that part of campus, and more odd that csat doesn't have a single column, foundation of bluestone, or at least a bit of Spanish tile (which would look amazing with that blonde brick!). It's not cheap, but it's not impossible to be more cohesive...

For folks that relegate style to use or population....well, thx for proving my point. Go dukes
