Tiny little thing, but it is one of those things where we will see if it is OK for somebody else.

I can never tell whether you really just don't understand why people had these complaints, or whether you understand and are just intentionally trying to annoy people. I don't think I ever complained about Bailiff's clapping. But the complaint wasn't that he clapped. It was that his teams would make just mind-glowingly stupid mistakes and be losing by 30 and he didn't show any emotions suggesting that he was frustrated with losing or frustrated with the careless mistakes his players were making. He just clapped. So people who complained about the clapping were complaining about, what they perceived, was a lack of frustration or caring about the performance of his team.

As I said, the criticisms over clapping were just criticism over Bailiff seemingly tolerating sloppiness. A player gets a 15-yard personal foul penalty for a late hit? Bailiff claps and player stays in the game. (for example)
