Quite right.

It was mainly cord-cutters/ala carte zealots dancing in the streets every time ESPN announced a decline in subscribers.


My train comment was more aimed at cable and sat companies. If they had gone for the $25/35/45 type model, instead of sticking to the bloated $80/100+ type models, the whole internet streaming TV thing might've never happened in the first place.

Pick your saying: Cable and satellite companies got too fat, greedy and complacent.

The bloated scam of bundling of stations and forcing people to pay for what they don't want can't last forever.

Now, they may become obsolete.
