RE: North Dakota to Summit League and MVFC
Makes sense. UND gets to join a conference with two fellow NCHC members, and join up with the other Dakotas. The IUPU schools can't be too happy about having another conference member west of the Mississippi, but it makes sense for the conference.

That being said, I can't see this sending any dominos tumbling. UMKC left the Summit because they felt they couldn't compete. They're not coming back. Omaha won't leave, since they now have another old NCC rival in conference, and joining their old NCC partners is why they left D2 to begin with. I doubt ORU will want yet another conference move after dipping their toe in the Southland pool and thinking the water was a little too hot for them. Denver seems more interested in looking east than west, with them emphasizing lacrosse and hockey and not even sponsoring baseball. The most that could happen from this is IPFW and IUPUI further pursuing Horizon League membership.
