I don' t think we need him for 2016-2017 so I'm wondering out loud if he is a qualifier and would be able to "redshirt" the 2016-2017 season.

I can do some searching...

EDIT: Did the research. He played as a frosh. That would not, however, prevent him from having 3 years to play 2.

But I wouldn't be surprised if he'd back up Thompson while Madray and LWH man the '4'.

I would assume the staff would point out the pluses to backing up and learning from JT4. He'd learn from the best pure big man in the MAC.

Despite the complaining about inconsistent shooting in the back court I'm not sure we go for another guard unless a guard leaves or is other unavailable.

I really think Murphy plans too win 'big' over the next two years. As long as he has players like JT4, Madray, LWH, Bond, etc. up front, he can find the guards...

Hopefully he has two more years of those guys...
