What makes you say that our roster will be slower next season? I agree with the bigger part, but Porter, Colbert, and BJ Stith don't look like they would be necessarily be slower than Brandan, Denzel, and Aaron. Porter and Colbert especially look like they are built for speed (for their size). Same is true for Xavier coming in. Kah is in the 6'9" 210-220 range so he is likely pretty fast for his size too.

I hate that we lost Evans, but I do feel like the combination of Caver and Xavier can do the job if no one else with more experience is added. Markus Evans is running the show nicely for Rice as a true freshman and Xavier is someone that Coach Jones really wanted pretty badly it seems. He also seems to want to play the Point Guard position, and didn't want to red shirt.
