Unless the guy is the next coming of LeBron or Michael Jordan, I don't want a one and done. Why go through the effort of recruiting a kid only to have to replace him the very next year. Seems like a waste of time and effort. Just my uneducated opinion.

Because for the one year he is here he can raise the bar for the program instantaneously, and establish us on a higher recruiting plane for future classes. You would be insane to pass a guy like that up. That said, I don't think it matters, because in my opinion, the chances of landing a guy like that are next to none. Yes, I know he gave us an in home visit, but I imagine that was a courtesy to our coaches who obviously built a solid relationship with this kid.

Not comparing players but imagine having Kevin durant for one year at Odu. Heck even derrick williams was great that year was great for KSU.
