Cristobal would only leave here to coach one school. But that school likely would not offer him for a while. If shannon gets fired anytime soon, my idea is they have Cristobal on the list.

Miami gives him a bigger recruiting budget, bigger staff and travel budget, bigger salary and more exposure and a larger fan base at the current moment.

Now ten years down the line, if he is still around, who knows maybe FIU will have increased the budget, and salary, and maybe he really falls in love with everything here.

It is hard to say, I think every school in the SBC and MAC would be seen as a stepping stone program for coaches.
