Just a guess here, but it could be the “sticker shock” crew still holding their grudge from the 2020 season. They been gone two seasons now, but some people can’t let it go. I guess they have never made a mistake in their life, so no one else is allowed to either….

Was there ever an apology made by any player, any coach, or the school for supporting a far left Marxist run politically motivated racist organization that is no better than the German Nazi Party? No, there wasn't. They just all ducked their heads and melted away and just stopped talking about it.

That's why some of us haven't and won't let it go

You"re only talking two - three years ago - it's not ancient history.

No apology means they arent sorry and they don't see it as a mistake.

Eff "em.

Agree 100%

No apology doesn't mean they aren't sorry. They cannot apologize for the BLM stickers without offending the BLM crowd. The mistake they made was to pick a political side. They realized how that alienated part of the fan base, and quietly retired the stickers so as not to offend the other side.

It's a common political trick to try and get your opponent to make a statement supporting one side of a hotly debated issue, alienating the other. In this case, the UofM did it to themselves.

I don't know the politics of the person who owns Central BBQ, and I don't care. I just want to go there, get some BBQ, and enjoy it.

The players sure weren't playing politics and the admin and Silverfield came out with very detailed statements very specifically saying that there was zero political motivation and no endorsement of the marxist, socialist policies of some of the leaders.

The players had their hearts in the right place and that's all there is to it.
