English has a lot of height and length to work with so for JMU, ball movement to get open threes and converting them will be key. Similar to EKU collapsing in the paint, I don’t see us driving well if it’s like Tuesday. Oduro, Gaines, and especially Schwartz will be giving our front court some headaches offensively and defensively.

Glad to see both programs are riding high right now. I remember the excitement on the Mason boards the day English was hired and the subsequent transfer/commitment announcements. One team will have to lose this but the loser may still be a dang good mid-major. Exciting times in the Commonwealth, makes you miss the old CAA.

Basketball in the CAA was definitely good memories. But even back then I had very unrealistic hopes to go FBS.
I don't know if we would have went to the Sun Belt if GMU and/or VCU were still playing in the CAA. They definitely made the right decision in going to the A-10.
