You think he's staying?
I'd say its a 98% chance he's gone assuming he stays healthy this season.

Not exactly on point, but there is pretty legit proof that the more carries a guy gets, the more likely he is to get injured. What else does Ford have to prove next season that would change where he is drafted? You can only have so many 50/60/70 yard runs where you blow by AAC corners for people to know you're fast as hell. Having 6-7 more of those next season wouldn't change a thing as to where he is drafted. He's already at 109 touches this season. Assuming that stays relatively equal he's looking to be around 240 touches by the end of the season. He needs to go get that money, especially if he can stick long enough to get to a second contract.
Yep...every RB should probably leave after their breakout year for that specific reason. Derrick Henry is bucking the trend for sure, but nearly any high-volume RB in college doesn't pan out and ends up getting injured instead. You need to have enough tread on the tires for a second contract, and if you have 700-800 carries in College, that's a highly improbable proposal.
Henry is just insane to me. Like he's a freak athlete amongst the world largest collection of freak athletes. Dude busted out a 76 yard run last night and at 247 pounds reached 21.80 MPH, which tye are saying is the fastest in the NFL so far this season.
To that note, I have a sneaking suspicion that Brady's speed gun might be a hair off. Either that or Jerome Ford would be the fastest player in the NFL.

They use GPS data tags in compression vests under their pads...same thing as the NFL guys do. That doesn't surprise me honestly, there are a ton of fast guys in College who don't have the skills to make it to the NFL AND many of those guys are playing "worse" teams relative to their own which allows them to get into the open field more than any NFL player would.
