The 2006 game when UNH was #1 with Santos (won Payton award) & David Ball (who broke Jerry Rice's receiving TD record) was also their homecoming game. As I recall a 2 lane road getting into campus was just 1 massive traffic jam. Ball, who had tied Rice's record the week before, didn't get a TD vs JMU. He broke Rice's record the following week vs RU..

The other @ UNH games (2011, 2013, 2016) I went to (didn't go 2018) I don't believe were homecoming. Crowds not nearly as big & no major traffic jams.

Since that 2006 game, they did redo the road little (added a traffic circle to keep things flowing - don't have to cross over traffic to get to "A" Lot, but it still is just a 2-lane road). However, this got me interested in looking to see if UNH had any new info...and they do.

More importantly, parking at Boulder Field is sold out and A-Lot might have spots left (it's hard to tell), but they cost $75-friggin-dollars!

So, I know that I will be trying my other parking spots - which add a little bit of a walk through campus, but it's not too bad. First spot would be B Lot, then Mill Road visitors, and finally the Hannaford parking lot. (All of those are right near each other on the southeastern part of campus.)

Looking at their maps, Lot S also might be an option. Basically, on this map, avoid all Green, Gray, and Pink lots:

I will ask around with some UNH alums to see if they have any other advice.

Fortunately, the weather looks to be 65-degrees and sunny - so perfect for an afternoon game. (People might want to bring a light jacket for the end of the game.)

Definitely to stay away from A-Lot this year. It looks like B-Lot of S-Lot would be the best choices. If going for B-Lot, it's probably best to approach the campus from the southeast. (Basically, stay away from Main Street as much as possible.)

I know that I am going to aim to get there no later than 1:30 (for the 3:30 game).

Of those 3 mentioned, the Mast Rd Lot looks like the biggest (Its in pink, and Saxkow said avoid that). Those other 2 lots in the core of campus are smaller.

The JMU e-mail didn't mention B lot as recommended parking. I assume someone from the JMU athletic dept talked to someone from the UNH athletic dept, and were told the 3 lots above, but not B lot, which looks on the map bigger than Mast Rd Lot. I wonder why?

Now I'm wondering if should stick with coming in from the southeast for B Lot, or come in from the northwest for the Mast Rd Lot.

Obviously, I would trust what JMU sent out regarding Mast Rd. I went off of the UNH parking website which said any lots that had mixed used and included residential was strictly off-limits in normal times (even on weekends)...but I am guessing UNH is tossing that rule out knowing that they will have a lot of alums who will be furious if they can't find places to park.

I know that I will still be trying B-Lot, but that is also the lot that I am actually most familiar with anyways - it's right by the Music Department.
