Even with the extra cash from TV contacts, lower P5 schools are still subsidized from the college operating budgets, its not like they have money sitting around to pay student athletics as many run on small fixed budgets with no excess revenues. Big name schools, sports and small number of big name players (CFB, MBB) will benefit, but 99% of the millions of college student athletics will receive little if any.
