What "wokeness" are you referring to?

Things like removing and rebranding cultural touchstones, institutions, and historical areas because of perceived association with racism and prejudice regardless of attenuated it was, distant it was, or how the modern usage longer has any such undertones or meaning.

Would you care for examples?

Ooh, ooh I’ve got one. Just saw this morning that one of Oxford’s colleges removed a portrait of Queen Elizabeth. Why? Because Monarchy is associated with Colonialism and her photo might not be viewed as welcoming by certain international students.
