anything is possible, but UT has shown a lot of loyalty to AJ and built a close relationship with him and his family. for most guys it doesn't make sense to leave a primary role at UT to go to a "higher program". we have similar facilities, great comraderie in the program, and a well liked staff. guys like AJ and Rollins obviously could play at a P5 program but could easily get buried on the roster and be rotation or bench guys. At UT they can become stars. Transferring has been an option for. a long time and most guys for the past 5 or 6 years got waivers to play right away. We have never lost a key player since stuckey mosley if you discount marreon who graduated from UT, played 4 years and decided with the program to take advantage of the covid extra year to impress scouts by playing in the pac12. the team was ready to be more in rollins hands anyway-he's the future. outside of ball state (and EMU, CMU with the coaching changes) MAC schools have gotten more talent in than out in this year's transfer scene.
