Ohio State likely should not have been in the playoffs based on amount of games played, but do I think OSU is one of the top 4 teams in the country? Yes.

The Big 10 is down/bad and I think had the season played out normally they would have made the CFB playoff as the undefeated Big 10 champ. I think the only reason it is a topic of discussion is that we had a .0001% chance of breaking through, and people want to stick it to Ohio State. The Buckeyes are likely better than any of the other potential playoff candidates.

That said if Notre Dame and OSU are allowed to go get their asses kicked in the playoffs...we should be able to as well.

I was a believer that 6 games shouldn't be rewarded. But if the committee's responsibility is to pick the best 4 teams and there's no game requirements then they deserved it. It's just impossible to judge this year with all the COVID disruptions. OSU looked bad vs Northwestern but after seeing them blast Clemson it looked like their struggle was due to all the players missing. We barely beat Tulsa; does anyone really thing we don't beat them badly had our program not been shut down for two weeks.

My point is it's just so hard this year to judge teams by an individual result; maybe OSU gives Bama more of a game last night without their missing players. But I am glad a team that played a full schedule won the title and I think they clearly had the team this season.
