Current commissioner was the assistant commissioner under the former. I don't think there was much turnover.

Correct, everyone basically moved up a spot. Unfortunately, CUSA schools don't have much authority in the front office staffing. Majority are past CUSA ADs who were mediocre at best, who have always had other staffers to be the detail-oriented ones. They are basically in charge of running championship events, and all reports I've heard coming from multiple conference schools is they are a walking circus.
