1899-1999

• Sucked most of these years.
• Averaged 14,000 attendance.
• Their last season of 1-AA was in 1999, before transitioning to 1-A as an Independent.
  

2000-2003

• Went 20-26 as an Independent...
• Averaged 14,000 attendance.
• ... Then get invited to the Big East for 2004.
  

2004-2012

• Won the Big East title in 2004, 2007, and 2010
• Won 3 bowl games
• Made it to a BCS Bowl (Fiesta Bowl) in 2010 (lost to Oklahoma)
• Had Top 25 wins over #11 USF and #18 Louisville during these years.
• Beat Notre Dame on NBC national TV in 2009.
• Averaged 38,000-40,000 attendance.
• Achieved a highest ranking of #16 during the 2007 season.
  

2013-2019

• Get invite to the AAC after being left out of realignment.
• Zero winning seasons while in AAC.
• 20-65 overall record while in AAC.
• Athletic department announces $42 million in losses in 2019.
• Leaves the AAC to go independent after 2019 season.
• Averaged 18,000 attendance by 2019.

• First and possibly only FBS team in 2020 to cancel entire football season.
  

Talk about a humbling experience if you're a UConn fan. It's pretty unbelievable to see how they used to be at the bottom, made it to the top, and now are back at rock bottom (if not worse). Kind of sad in a way to see that.
