Who cares if they are transfers or not? It means zero. Are transfers not recruited?

JJ recruits mostly transfers, who have already been recruited. JJ has a hard time convincing incoming great talented freshmen, to come to ODU

Ah, I understand now. High school seniors don't want to play for Jones but he has a special way of recruiting guys that are a year past their high school senior years.

I would venture to guess that it is easier to recruit a top kid who goes to Duke or UNC who finds himself sitting on the end of the bench for a year or more. Some kids want to play more than being a bit player on a super star squad. Seems logical to me that i would be easier to get that kid than a kid straight out of HS
