Nothing earth shattering, mate

Which also = Louisville and Miami

Can you make a case that any of these schools are "better" than the others? They are important in their regions but none of them have had a relevant season in football in quite a while.

Train of thought for the following;

Cal: Hippies, Aaron Rogers went there
Mizzou: ??? I got nothing. Left Big 12 for SEC and more money.
Pitt: Dan Marino went to school there and they were good in the late 70's.
GT: They shared a national championship with Colorado in 1990. The last time either school was a big name.
Louisville: One of the greatest cheating institutions in the modern era. Got to leave a weak Big East conference and parlayed that into an ACC membership.
Miami: See Louisville Above.

That's my point, really. They're all "P5" programs that have had some decent years and some bad years. Nothing overly exciting either way.

Which is why I don't understand, for instance, USF getting a 1-1 with NCST but then bending over for a 2-1 with Miami or a 2-1 with Louisville. It's incoherent. You guys were GETTING 1-1 deals with equivalent programs and then all of a sudden you started taking 2-1's like they were going out of style.

Five National Championships isn't overly exciting?

lol no. The last one came shortly after GWB was elected as President and we now know that this entire era of Miami success came at the same time that Shapiro and his network of scumbags were breaking every NCAA rule possible to get kids to Miami. It's funny how once Miami had to play by the rules they suddenly became just another ACC program huh?

UCF scheduled a home/home with Miami, as did Temple, as did Toledo. There was absolutely no reason for USF to do a 2-1 with a program that is no more relevant than Duke or NCST in today's ACC.
