Exactly. We don't know if any of our backup QBs are capable of getting the job done. They're promising and have nice Hudl videos, but outside of a few spring ball reps and less than 10 game snaps for Grissom, they haven't shown/proven that they can be trusted with full game(s) if Glass went down.

Let's focus on beating NIU/UT/WMU with consistency before we start saying that winning the division is an expectation, even if this is CC's 6th yr.

It might be that if an injury comes to Glass, maybe the new JUCO recruit loses his redshirt if he is the best prepared of the QBs.

Is Isaac Steibeling still on the roster? Because last time i checked he has more wins than anyone else posting on this board. For the first time since I've been a fan - we have real depth at QB. I'm not worried.

1. QB wins is quite the statistic to cling onto.
2. That Bowling Green defense that EMU barely beat (in a game that didn't matter) was garbage.
3. The QB depth really is awesome. I think this is one of Creighton's strengths in building EMU's program: creating a ton of competition at quarterback.

Don't sell Steibeling short. He is effective as an option running the ball. Other QBs may have more buzz but if Glass went down he could help us win. Ditto Hutchinson who can also run and has a hell of an arm. Again we have depth at this position with ALL of the guys who had time to be comfortable with Keen's system and teammates.
