You really shouldn't post information that is blatantly false, especially when it is so easily refuted. Alabama's population numbers are not declining. It took me about 90 seconds to find that based on the latest estimates our population growth is at an annual rate of .26%, and expected to be at 5 million by the 2020 census. So, either you A) are completely ignorant of the topic and too lazy to research it before you post, or B) know your statement is false but post it anyway to make some sort of point. I don't know which is worse.
Sorry. Alabama's slow/stagnant population growth. One thing that is irrefutable is that Alabama is growing at a much slower rate than the rest of the southeast. Not sure what point you're trying to make or if you're just intentionally being a jack ass.
The POINT is that for many decades the red flags warning of going the wrong way in state leadership have been totally ignored by important leaders and policy makers with the support of voters. The business journals reported Alabama lost over 60,000 jobs as a result of the Recession of 2008, but much is made of the few thousand jobs -many perhaps minimal wage, no benefit jobs - that have come in attracted by the legislative act in 2016 effectively guaranteeing the cheapest labor force in America.
Where is the public outcry that Alabama has a rural auto death rate twice the national average, or that the state identifies dozens of "failing schools", but has no programs to improve them? Like those "monitors" on TV ads, they just label and walk away, in effect washing their hands. No other state had the top officers of all 3 government branches removed from office only to have voters return the same party's leaders to supermajority power.
Wasnt a response to you. I'm not even going to try to figure out what point you're trying to make.
