there's a difference between ignoring an obvious health issue and not fearing death...I mean, life's not a race, I'm not trying to get to the end first.

if taking some pills is able to keep me healthy for an extra few years...cool.

They don't keep you healthy, they keep you alive. If you are in your early 30's with those levels you should really consider a bit of a lifestyle change.
