Then some schools list money different on budgets, like one time donations. Western does not do that. That's how Ark St's budget went up 10 million in one year. Naming rights to their stadium and arena. With the football stadium being a state building the money Houchen's pays Western goes into the general funds. Same goes for the US Bank entrance to Diddle.

The biggest cuts will always go to the Olympic Sports. So while I'm down playing the cut, somewhat. It really isn't going to affect basketball or football. At least not this cut. The one factor I would be worrying about is if a spot opened in the AAC then perception and a budget cut might play a larger role. I personally just dont think its going to matter in CUSA. Maybe a few less championships in Olympic Sports

In this day and time, it's never good when your athletics budget decreases. It will effect coaching salaries, recruiting budgets etc.. It's not a promising development, but all of us are struggling.
