Considering Keith Lee is arguably the greatest Tiger ever, certainly top 5, well, Wiseman is great. I hope to see Wiseman in a Tiiger uniform soon.
To date, Lee was the greatest Tiger ever. His recruitment was a game-changer for our B.B. program. You have to have lived through the pre-Lee period to understand how much of a change and excitement about the program he brought. I know others have Finch, and even Penny, as the greatest Tiger. And Penny could, indeed, supplant Lee if his coaching tenure works out well - he’s certainly already brought back excitement to a down program.
Before last month, I would say that Finch was the greatest person in Memphis basketball history. Player who took us to the final four, as assistant, back top the final four and as head coach the elite 8.
Now, although the future is yet to be written, Penny could equal, or even surpass Finch with the future he has planned.
But, Lee was MVP, with Hardaway 2, Rose 3 and Finch 4.
Agree with most - good presentation. MVP votes, I would move Finch to #3, and argue about who is #4 (lots of candidates).
