Bowls are about TV money first, attendance 2nd. More ACC fans go to Indy than Detroit. I still think Detroit relocates to a new city or the ACC moves to another bowl. Would like to see HOD or Fosters replace Detroit, if Detroit Bowl still exists.

Birmingham is owned by ESPN, HOD is owned by ESPN. Shreveport is not. I think Shreveport needs to start thinking G5 because the decision may get made for them.

Yes because also they are once again limiting the number of bowls a conference can sign to the average number of bowl eligible teams.

Think many will be disappointed when the metrics come out. SEC, ACC and B10 average 10 or more bowls over the past 4 years. ACC for example has averaged 11.25 bowls in the past 4 years but has 9-10 tie-ins depending if they have St. Pete in the Lineup. So in theory the ACC could go to 11 bowls teams based on the four year average in the next line cycle.
