well, first of all, I haven't seen a story mentioning his supporters that didn't make them all out to be absolute cooks. whether they mentioned religion or not is almost beside the point.
but the national story is playing highly anti-God, and the only people that are waving the religion banner are attacking him with it.

Anyway, whether his supporters are cooks or not, doesn't change the fact that they are NOT his accusers and ARE bringing up religion. Why can't you just admit you were wrong...is it really that difficult? Geez. Stop moving the goalposts.
I will concede that it's quite unlikely that zero of his supporters have mentioned his christianity as a reason that they support him.
